The first Women Police Station of West Bengal created vide Notification No. 4945-PL/PB/4P-14/11 Dated: 25.11.11 of Home (Police) Department, Govt. of West Bengal inagurated by Sri Moloy Ghatak, Hon'ble MIC Law & Judical Affairs, Govt. of WB and started functioning with effect from 1st January, 2012. LSI Sampa Bose become the first Officer-in-charge. The women police station will deal with all cases of Crime against women under Asansol Sub-Division. |
